I’m from Texas, I don’t if that supposed to mean something when it comes to Salsa – but what I do know is if you go to any supermarket here there is half and aisle top to bottom of various salsa’s…. @ the local farmers and flea market you will find several vendors swearing they have the best salsa… I will go to certain mexican restaurants JUST for their salsa … CHUY’S is one of those locations – they have pretty good food and the atmosphere is fun but it’s quite pricey when you are hauling 10 to 12 people in tow! So… I have one of their infamous recipes that greet their customers on the table when you visit them – Fresca Salsa – You control the heat with the Serrano’s no need to thank me, you are very welcome.

I made this for a small party, and barely had any left!

I made this and everyone LOVED it!!! I used half the salt and it was perfect! Very much like what they serve at Chuy’s! Thank you! 🙂

I was just in Texas and ate at Chuys. Salsa Fresca was amazing!! This recipe is about as close as it gets. So good!! I had to triple it for a football party and it was the first thing gone! Will definitely make it again.
*** I did reduce the salt and added to taste

Better than Chuy’s. Easy to make. Fabulous!

This is it! Just like Chuys, as mentioned by others I did reduce the salt to about two teaspoons and I added a splash of rice vinegar.
