Ingredients
  

Bean Part

  • 2 cups pinto beans dry
  • 1 tsp salt
  • water in pressure cooker

Soup Part

  • 3 tbsp lard
  • 2 strips bacon uncooked, chopped
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ¼ serrano chopped
  • ½ small onion chopped
  • 10 sprigs cilantro leaves only & chopped
  • 1 roma tomato chopped
  • 1 cup water
  • 16 oz budweiser

Instructions
 

Bean Part

  • Combine bean ingredients into pressure cooker and cook minutes.45
    2 cups pinto beans, ⅓ water in pressure cooker, 1 tsp salt

Soup Part

  • Melt the lard; add bacon and cook for 7 minutes.
    3 tbsp lard, 2 strips bacon
  • Add salt; cook for 3 minutes.
    1 tsp salt
  • Add serrano & onion; cook for 10 minutes.
    ¼ serrano, ½ small onion
  • Add cilantro & tomato; cook for 10 minutes.
    10 sprigs cilantro, 1 roma tomato
  • Add water; After boiling add beer.
    1 cup water, 16 oz budweiser
  • Boil 20 minutes, add beans; simmer for 1 hour.
