
Veggie Spaghetti Sauce
This is a non-meat spaghetti sauce, that is really filling.
Ingredients
- 56 oz crushed tomatoes
- 3 whole zucchini sliced
- 2 whole yellow squash sliced
- 8 oz mushrooms sliced
- 2 whole carrots chopped
- 3 cloves garlic diced
- ½ tsp basil
- ½ tsp oregano
- ½ tsp thyme
- salt, pepper, & red pepper flakes to taste
Instructions
- In a 4 quart slow cooker, combine tomatoes, zucchini, squash, mushrooms, carrots, garlic, herbs, and spices.
- Cover and cook on low for 7 hours.
- Serve over pasta.
- Sprinkle with cheese.
Notes
You can add Italian sausage if you would like.
